Some businesses begin with a business plan.

Ours began with a love affair with the Kawarthas.

For years, Chandni traveled the world with Emirates Airlines, experiencing some of the finest hotels, resorts, and guest experiences across more than 25 countries. I spent much of my life traveling as well, always fascinated by the places that people returned to year after year and the memories they carried home with them.

Yet no matter where we went, we always found ourselves coming back to Bobcaygeon.

There is something magical about this place. Early mornings on the lake. The excitement of a child catching their first fish. Long afternoons on a pontoon boat exploring endless waterways. Campfires that somehow keep conversations going long after the sun has disappeared. The simple joy of three generations gathering together with nowhere else to be.

Over time, we purchased our own waterfront cottages in the area and began creating the kind of experiences we wished we could find ourselves. Places where families could reconnect, where children could put down their phones and head for the dock, and where every detail felt thoughtful, comfortable and effortless.

Friends started asking to visit. Guests began returning year after year. What started as a personal passion slowly became something much bigger.

Today, Chalet Paradise is our way of sharing the Kawarthas we fell in love with. Inspired by the hospitality standards we experienced around the world, but rooted in the lakes, forests, fishing, boating, and small-town charm that make Bobcaygeon so special.

We believe a cottage should be more than a place to stay. It should feel like your own private family resort.

And now, we're inviting other proud cottage owners who share that belief to join us as we build a collection of exceptional waterfront retreats and create unforgettable family memories across cottage country.
